Members of this group take it in turns to organise a lunch in a pub or restaurant in the local area. They take place on the 4th Wednesday of February, April, June, August and October. The usual format is to meet at the venue around noon ready to eat at 12.30. Menu choices are usually published and chosen in advance in order to obtain the best prices. Membership of the group is quite informal and no-one has to come every time.
